Hurricane Helene Relief

If you are looking for an address to send care packages or supplies to I was given this one as a distribution center. They can receive packages from at least fedex and ups and the church is distributing them from there, so we’re thinking they can also get amazon deliveries also. Remember if you have amazon prime it doesn’t cost you anything to ship something so you can make regular donations as part of your monthly budget. It’s going to be MANY years before the area has recovered. Needs will change, but you can keep items coming.

We’re compiling lists of things people need; these are things we know people need since some of the mountain regions are going to get cold next week as temperatures are supposed to be in the 30s at night and most do not have power.

Special note: rescue crews and utility works are getting stung by yellow jackets as the rain have drove them out of the ground so bee spray is requested. Swannanoa Fire Department requesting BOOTS. Fire fighters have been through multiple pairs and have no more. All kinds needed, working boots, mud trekking rubber boots, firefighter boots – men sizes 8-13, women sizes 6-10.
