Missing You

“Come here kids… I want to show you what a President looks like,” Jeremiah said to the nation.  And he sat down to draw.

I did this little portrait with my new Tin Box set of 6 Limited Edition Conte Crayons that I got for Christmas along with one dark ultramarine blue one I had from a set from last Christmas.  The paper was Strathmore Pastel Series 400 9×12 inch.  The whole thing took about twenty minutes.  No pencil sketch was done for the President.  I did that directly in crayon, but I did a quick pencil to get the placement of the flag.  The colors were Conte a’ Paris 2340/09 Black and 2456/2B for the White for Reagan and his clothing and the same white with a cool gray 2457 and a red 2450 and a 46 Dark Ultramarine Blue for the flag.

The title of the piece is Missing You.
